How to Channel Confidence

What do you do when you want to show up with confidence, but instead you're filled with doubt and imposter syndrome and feeling anything BUT confident?!?

Here's one practice I've used with coaching clients and asked audience members in speaking engagements - and it's SO simple.

👉 Ask yourself: How would you show up if you were completely confident?

I invite you to practice it right now. Bring to mind a situation where you're nervous, doubting yourself, or experiencing imposter syndrome.

Now ask yourself: How would you show up in that situation if you were completely confident?

Close your eyes for second if you can and really picture it. What would you do with that confidence? How would you walk into the room? What would you say? How would you dress? What energy would you bring with you?

Next, go beyond simply picturing it and FEEL it. Feel confidence coursing through your body. Feel yourself doing the thing and saying the words with complete and total, grounded confidence.

Now take this feeling with you, take a breath, and go do it.

I want to be clear - it's not about fake it to make it.

Instead it's embodying the grounded confidence that's already inside of you. It's there! You just need to tap into it.

The magic of this practice is that it gets past the doubt clouding your way and helps you see new possibilities.

Once you see it and feel it, you can be it.

You open a channel to your inner, grounded confidence and let it flow.

Try it out! I'd love to hear how it works for you!
